About Susan Lovejoy
and Celebrations
She has many years' experience working
with individuals and groups (adults as well
as children), using, among other things,
photography and video in group
workshops helping folks understand how
they "see" the world and find powerful
ways to live their best lives.
Some of the groups served are; Parents
Without Partners, women's groups, middle
school teachers, critical illness specialists
(doctors, nurses, families of critically ill
patients) as well as adult education
classes for school and community groups
While living in Québec, she guided and
coordinated, with parents of children
having cancer (LEUCAN, Inc.), the
creation of their first-ever family summer
camp (Camp Vol d'été) as well as a
creative activities program for the waiting
room of the pediatric cancer outpatient
clinic.
"Les Journées Santé" is another group
event she and a friend authored and
facilitated. This was a series of fun, day-
long opportunities for participants to learn
about and actually try out various forms of
complementary approaches to health care
such as therapeutic massage, Polarity
Therapy, Yoga, Photo-therapy, Art
Therapy, etc.

As a result of her Master's study in Conscious
Evolution, Susan awakened to what had
become perhaps obvious by her activities ...
she is innately an "architect of systems",
systems in which people can make
self-discovery and find joy in living.
Even during time more recently spent working in
offices in the corporate world she would fit in fun
and stress-busting activities into the day, some
of them officially called "Brain Vacations".
During the lunch hour, there were Salsa dance
lessons in the lobby and yoga in the boardroom.
Susan Lovejoy loves to create celebrations for
any and all special events! No "celebration
guidebook", no pre-written "recipes", no
"celebration textbook" ...
